Hey everyone--

I just joined the forum and would love to share my pics. However, I can't figure out how to post pictures that are simply on my hard drive and do not have a URL. (Sorry if this question is horribly obvious) Any idea?

Thanks,

Jessica

Hello and welcome to forum Jessica! I also joined at this forum recently but I guess that only way to upload pictures here is to put them to your pages. Ofcourse you can send your pictures to someone who uploads those and give link to you. I can put those pics also online but I had a hard time to put my pics here so maybe im not nro. 1 man at that job :D

Welcome to the forum Jessica.

Try visiting http://www.photobucket.com

I believe you can upload your photos from your computer to that website. Then in your message here you can link to them so that we can view them.

There is a sticky post in this area that explains how to link to the photos once you've uploaded them to that site.

thanks for the tips guys! hopefully this works. here are some pics that (at least to me) clearly show my progression.
This is me, about a year ago, completely symptom free:

This is the past summer, after a few drinks. I'm nice and rosy, but nothing to worry about really:

Here is a few weeks ago (just before my first IPL treatment) at a Mardi Gras party. This is in an unheated student apartment in Connecticut (read: COLD) after a drink, or three. Look at that left cheek!:

Finally, here is one of me recently flush free:

Alcohol is a huge trigger for me, along with heat, exercise, etc--pretty much all the regulars. It's been about 2 weeks since my first IPL treatment and although I seem to be noticing more permanent redness, the flushing seems to be improving (I went to a lecture hall today that usually makes me a tomato and only slightly flushed!). I commend you on your choice of reading and viewing material! (Less certain about the wall coverings :D )

You will not be pleased to hear to it, but the flushed look suits you and certainly does not detract from your attractiveness.

I SECOND THAT!!!

If it weren't for you saying something about it, I would have thought you wanted that look because it looks like you put on a little blush. Shit, people pay money to look that way and you've got it for free. You look good like that.

Haha wow, thanks guys! Definitely a confidence booster. I suppose I wouldn't mind so much if it werent for the burning, general discomfort, and the "Wow, you are REALLY red"s. Oh well, funny how that works. I'm impressed you can even see my reading material--and hey! i love that tapestry! And sorry, I didn't realize how whited out the first pic is.

I absolutely agree with GJ. Sometimes (usually in females), that rose in the cheek is very complimentary. Also very usual in people with skin like yours (I think anyway!), which certainly adds to the appeal.

Thanks for sharing!

You look quite olive skinned. Quite unusual for someone with your skin tone to suffer this.

You're very attractive no matter how red you are in those pics.

Try getting VBeam pulse dye laser instead of the (in my opinion, a waste of time) IPL treatment.

The IPL takes too long to have a good effect whereas the Vbeam works wonders after the first go.

I've had only 2 sessions and I'm back to normal with just the odd flare up but no permanent redness.

Hope this helps.
