Yes, I guess I am cursed. Blast!

It is great to find a forum finally, although it hits you a bit harder in the butt when you can see your own 'symptoms' reflected back at you in someone else's pic.

I am grateful however for those pics, you are all wonderfully brave, and I respect you for having the courage, I dont have.(Since every morning I despartly attempt my camouflaging routine.

I am pleased to find some great information I have not prevously discovered or considered, and eager to begin my dissection.

I suppose I am rather fortunate that I am still young, and suffer mild to occasionally severe 'attacks'.

I am planning on having a V-Beam facial treatment very soon, somewhat panicked about it, considering I tend to scar very easily. Of course money lost, with nothing gained is indeed upsetting. Two conditions I hope to be spared.

If anyone has any good, or bad views or results from having V-Beam treatment, please let me know. I have made quite a few bad descions in my life, and I am hoping this wont be one of them.

And also anything I can do, or not do, or take(herbals) or not take which may aid a succesfully beneficial treatment??

Thank you in advance.

There is no place like home.

Please read up on red light therapy. No topicals, no pharmaceuticals, you can DIY, and it appears to have an anti-inflammatory and thus a flushing suppresion action on rosacea vasculature. It's the best thing I've found for a treatment.

Be very careful with your skincare--that can turn on you after several months of benign use.

Pick your laser doctor carefully, and make them earn your business: Don't just fall into whatever clinic is "nice".

Good luck. Read a whole bunch and don't treat this disorder lightly. I don't know how old you are, but getting it early in life tends to lead to having an aggressive form. Educating yourself early on can head-off problematic symptoms later on.
