Some pics of my rosacea. The undated ones were taken three weeks ago. They're a bit hit and miss and apologies if they're too big.

Hey,
Your rosacea is the mild type like mine. I'm sure there is a lot of info you can pick up here that will be of help to your skin.

Hi Ken,
Before starting the IPL's (last summer), my skin looked similar to
yours - Mild. Has it always been that way? The worst of my Rosacea
ended in '93 (Oy  ).

Is that typical of a bad flush, or when yr not flushing? If thats a flush then i agree that it is mild and laser would be helpful to you.

That looks like me when I flush, except I get all sorts of blotchy and eeky! Also, my whole cheek flushes, not just the flush zone. Aaaaaa.

Hi all
That's me in a non flushed state.......when i flush the patches increase in size a fair bit and two wide red strips show up on my forehead; makes a lovely pattern. The redness has dulled a bit over the past several months which, i believe, is down to a vitamin K cream i've been using. I'm now giving the Neocutis stuff a whirl to see what it can do.
Sylvia, good to here you're over the worst of your rosacea. I'd go for IPL but fear it's out of my price range.

Your skin looks like it would benefit from IPL--I know it's pricy. :(
I have something similar that "tiny diffuse telangiectasia", though it can look very pale at times.
Good luck.

I have a similar "look" except when I blush or get hot the red gets very very red and I get lines across my forehead and I blush on my neck and chest. Are you suggesting laser at this stage to halt it from progressing?

Do you have any acneform lesions or ocular involvement?
That's alot of skin area to treat~$$. I'd recommend trying red light therapy; it's a one-off cost that will last for years. But, then again, I'm a big fan of red light because it's been so helpful for me. 8)
