I am a 49 yr old female, have had rosacea and initially went to my derm for dx. It was very mild, some intermittant papules and some capillary redness around my nose. I didn't do much but ignore red wine and watch my diet, intermittantly. Didn't stick to the topicals she dx'd.
Fast forward: 5 years later, more stress in my life and have watched the redness spread, more capillaries on my cheeks and now aggrevated by my AM shower.
I could kick myself, I have ignored this because I am so busy and now my stress level is way high, am turning 50 (woohoo) and maybe hormones are kicking in...
What can I expect from treatment?
Also, am currently on albuterol, methylprednisone (short term 6days) and Levaquin for Acute bronchitis. The redness is worse: Would the albuterol have anything to do with this?
Thanks for the help,
Cheryl
