Hey all, I just saw this pic of Mike Piazza (baseball player) on espn's website. I've noticed he has slight redness on his face which is exactly how mine looks.

Notice how his cheeks have that 'sunburned' look while right under his eyes in the ocular cavity it is very white. I always get the "have you been tanning with sunglasses on" comment... I hate it!!

Well, I have to say if your skin looks look that on a bad flush day than you have it pretty good!
Mike P always looks good to me even though I'm a Red Sox fan! ;)

I have no clue/knowledge when it comes to baseball but from the photo it seems like this guy is a back-stop since he is wearing one of those really thick protective vests. If he is a backstop then doesn't he also wear a helmet; his hair seems pretty messy which also indicates this? Add to that the sun trigger and I'm sure anyone, whether they are a rosacean or not, will sweat like a pig whilst wearing one of those helmets for a long time causing the cheeks to turn red slightly.

Baseball.. such a dull sport.
Anyways, yes he is a batcatcher. I doubt he has any sort of Rosacea at all by the looks of that picture.

Whether or not he has rosacea or not, I have no clue, although I've seen other pictures of him when he is not playing and he still has the redness along the cheeks. In that picture I posted, he it looks similiar to how i look when i'm not flushed... when i'm flushed it's about 10 times worse, unfortunately. :(

i doubt piazza has rosacea, i dont think ive ever seen a pro athlete with rosacea before. but i have seen MP a few times and he had reddish cheeks, and it wasent during or after a game, but even non rosaceans have mild flushese from time to time.
