Printing Forum Posts

Hello
Can the site experts tell me how to reduce the size of the forum pages and make them suitable for printing out on an A4 page.
I have tried in vain to persuade my printer, but the page is always too big for the paper.
The forum pages are also too large for the computer viewing screen.
Expert help will be most welcome.
