I was going to put this in the other person's thread, but I have decided that the truth MUST be TOLD !

Wow, so "KP Duty?" They make a product specifically for KP ?! That's amazing! It HAS to work, right??

If you have a really mild case of Keratosis Pilaris on the backs of your arms or something with no red dots or inflamation, this product *might* work for you. It does make your skin feel softer and smoother. ( Like ANY lotion that does not set you back $36. *Cough.*)

However, I'm now convinced that it does absolutely nothing for even moderate KP, or if any redness is present. After using it daily for a month, I see no improvement at all. All the bumps are still there and it's red dots everywhere as usual.
I have somewhat bad KP in that it covers most of the area of my legs, so much that they are very ugly and therefore have not been seen by human eyes (except for mine) in 15 years. (No, I don't wear shorts no matter how hot it gets. No, I haven't been swimming, either. YES, I'm celibate.) KP Duty talks very big but seems to have no effect on the actual size or number of bumps. It deceptively makes them feel softer and smoother, but they are totally still there and the skin still looks horrible.

So.... There is $75 I'll never get back. See you in hell, Dermadoctor. And the rest of you PLEASE save your money.

Dermadoctor is a scam, their prices are outrageous. Now you have learned that! :^o

Hi Sea Swirl,

My son who is 14 has KP. When he was around 10 I took him to the derm and she told me that there really wasn't anything that we could do except keep it soft by using lotion. She thought that maybe he would out grow it. It is on his arms and the top of his thighs.

I have noticed that it seems to get better when we go to the beach. I don't know if it is the salt water that helps or the sun.

I wonder if olive oil or rosehip oil would help? Maybe you should try on one arm to see.

Good luck!

The only Dermadoctor product I've found useful is their Tease Zone Oil Control Gel, the other have been to harsh for my skin but many reports success with their Calm, Cool & Corrected cream for rosacea, which I also tried my didn't do well on my skin.
