From talks with my derm I got the impression that seb derm associated with rosacea often is quite mild cosmetically but very resistent. I think it is so, that we get an odd form of seb derm. Our seb derm is a result of flushings but often it isnt as crazy as for immune-suppressed patients, its just impossible to treat with anti-fungals. The anti-fungals cant act against the constant modulation of immune response from underlying rosacea, dont know if Elidel combined with itraconazole would work (hope they are not contraindicated :? ). Surely, I would like to get rid of seb derm as it causes much of my skin sensitivity.
