I have been to several doctors but none of them diagnosed me rosacea.

The first doctor I have seen 4 years ago didnt name my condition but gave me acne products and told me to avoid sun and aftershaves. I used acne products for only a week since they were too harsh.

Second one was a laser specialist, he tried to treat me by one of his lasers. I didnt know about IPL at that time but his laser wasnt IPL either. I remember that it was something like "pro-yellow" (copper?) and then find out that it was a laser to treat broken veins, not suitable for treating spread redness. However, my skin has ended up with pale points. Some people used to say my redness became worse after the treatment. He treated me for 3 sessions.

Third one, who was supposed to be the best since she was a proffeseur in the
best medical university, examined me with her collegues and they told me that it is "neurovascular dilation" but not rosacea. Pphhhhh.

Last one, was very popular when I made a google search and she was a bitter trained. She had IPL to treat rosacea and her office was 5 minutes walk from my house. She told me that I didnt have rosacea but seborrha( seb derm). She gave me a solution including 4-5 different alcohols, isospropyl was one of them. I didnt use it of course.

Well, I am a member of rosacea groups for 1.5 years and I know what rosacea is. I have Dr. Nase's book and I can say that I have rosacea. I blush/flush due to sun, alcohol, warm, stress, and every common trigger. My skin texture is recently becoming like orange??? but not very remarkable. I have permanent red cheeks that has become worse in years. I can see the stages of pre rosacea mild rosacea when I look at my photos since I was 6.

The problem is people with rosacea is very very rare here in Turkey. I definitely have no irish or european genes and confused about the cause of this. No body knows the eaxact cause of course.

I just wonder, which tests do I have to take to get sure if this condition is caused by something else. People tell me I might have tyroid or something else. It's really weird but I always stick on my own diagnosis.

I think a derm should be qualified enough to distinguish btw rosacea and seb derm since one of them includes dilation of vessels and other is the inflammation of the skin. God damn derms

I share your frustration. If you have all the criteria Nase lists in his book then you are almost certainly right in your self diagnosis. Now you start the real fun stuff and try to figure out how to control it. Good luck.
