Take a look at this article about dark chocolate.
http://www.webmd.com/content/article/88/99702.htm
It says that dark chocolate is good for blood vessels so would it be good for people with rosacea ?

Not very surprising, every year there seems to be a study revealing a benefit to chocolate.
It actually fights tooth decay too.... go ahead and google it.

Dark chocolate increases nitric oxide, which dilates blood vessels. While that is good for people who have clogged arteries, I'm not sure that it would be good for rosaceans. Besides, chocolate is so high-calorie. It also has tyramine, an amino acid that is found in fermented cheese and yogurt, and often a rosacea trigger.
Blueberries have the same effect, so eating blueberries every day would be healthier. The question is whether it would normalize our blood vessels, or just make them dilate more. That I don't know. I think I will go get some frozen blueberries and try eating a cup a day, as I do like blueberries (though not as much as chocolate!) The following website has a chart of different foods that do the same thing as dark chocolate:

Raspberries, pecans, and cranberries are pretty good, too.

Guys you should check out the thread I started regarding types of foods that help and cause rosacea. It would be great to build a type of database.
Anyway, regarding chocolate you need to purchase chocolate that consists of at least 90% pure cocoa because it is the cocoa which is good for your blood vessels due to the high bioflavonoid content which strengthen the vessels.
But as Irish as already said you might as well eat other foods that contain bioflavonoids as pure cocoa chocolate is hard to come by. My thread lists the foods that have high bioflavonoid content.

some time ago we talked about how dark 70%+ coco chocolate was great for us rosaceans where as milk was a real no no, way too much sugar. It's great to actually find something thats nice and we can have.

If rosaceans just ate dark chocolate alone, that would probably be ok, but the problem is that chocolate invariably comes with sugar which is the no no. Note this article about acne:
"About that chocolate and french fries? Loren Cordain, a co-author of the study and a specialist in evolutionary medicine at Colorado State University, says it's not the fat that's the problem, it's the sugar."

The semisweet dove bar only has 17 g of sugar. Not bad if you just have to eat a candy bar from time to time.

I think that the Dove dark choc. is the best ever. I buy in bags with individual pieces. I usually eat 2 pieces a day and it helps control my sugar cravings.

Luckily here in France dark chocolate is a necessary fact of life. You can choose your cocoa content, up to 86% in the grocery stores, perhaps higher from the chocolateries!
Cocoa has an excellent complement of minerals (alkalizing), so great for rosaceans on that count, but also reasonably high in caffeine (acidifying), so bad for that reason. I suppose we each have to find where the balance lies for ourselves.
I often add a spoonful of pure cocoa to my quinoa & banana for breakfast - yum!
