If there is some connection between Helicobacter pylori infection relating to the stomach and rosacea, could it be that if your mother died of stomach cancer this infection could be generic to you and predispose you to rosacea. Any thoughts on this one?

Hi- this is a little late, but H Pylori is not genetic. It is a bacterial infection. However, most authorities believe that the tendency to have cancer DOES have a genetic component.

I’m not sure what the connection between Helicobacter pylori infection in the stomach and Rosacea is, but have you read the story of how 2 doctors won the Nobel Prize by finding the cure for stomach ulcers caused by Helicobacter pylori and not stress?

Here is a link to the story. I think it is a good read and shows that there is hope that one day if doctors start looking outside the box they may find the cure for Rosacea. These doctors were met with skepticism by the medical community for years because they were accepted as being right.

I have gastritis and my doctor gave me a medication to eliminate Helycobacter Pilory, the medication is mexico is PYLOPAC. I see a very big improve in my face, but just for a while. Then I follow a diet and I control my rosacea. I think there´s a connection between gastric diseases and rosacea....
