Hi All,
This might be long so bear with me. I was diagnosed with Rosacea by one Derm about 2 years ago. She started me on Noritate once a day and Nizoral at night. She also gave me Elidel and Protopic to use as needed.
I have had about 10 IPL's done and have noticed some difference. I also take 400mg Grape Seed Extract and 200mg Prypoganal (?) and around 3000 to 4000mg Vitamin C daily.
I have found that when it gets hot and muggy I seem to get more red and those tiny little red bumps appear again.
Is there something out there that I am missing? I want to clear this up and now seem to be at a stand still.
I am going to contiue with the IPL's but once in awhile I think having these done has hurt more than helped.
Before I started on IPL I wasn't taking any meds except the topical ones prescribed by my Derm, and ever since I have had the IPL's done, I am on all of the ones listed above.
Is this normal? I thought having the IPL's done was suppose to get one off of the meds?
Just wanted to get some feedback from someone else.
Thanks,
Patrick
