Close-up of redness, pores

After a shower, a close-up of my yummy clogged pores (see the little white thingys), blemishes, rosacea redness (nose, cheeks and notice chin too) and big schnoz. My face looked like this all the time before IPL, now it usually only gets like this blushing or after shower. It fades quickly though as you can see in the next pic.

Your skin looks absolutely fine to me. i don't see any of the things you described, in yr first photo, and my lord its big enough to see it if it were there!!! :wink:

I just made the connection in my mind with a post you had made about wanting a nose job. Of course, I haven't seen your nose in profile, but from what I can see here, I advise you NOT to get a nose job. Honestly, the first thing I thought when I saw your picture was that you are handsome enough to be a movie star. Your nose is strong, masculine, but not out of balance. Your nostrils look fine. Maybe somebody made some comment about your nose when you were younger, before your facial bones had finished growing, and this comment made you self-conscious. But your nose fits your face now, makes your face much more interesting than one with some little bitty nose. And those lips--perfection!

I second Irishgenes, DO NOT GET A NOSE JOB, PLEASE! First off you have a great nose, seriously. My mother, who was a very beautiful woman had a really cool and interesting nose that has a little bump in the middle of it. It suited her perfectly and added real interest to her face. She got a nose job and it turned into a competely boring and straight little nose. She never ever looked as good again.

You're in Australia right? Damn shame you aren't an actor (assuming you aren't) as you look just right for the lead in a film I've written and am trying to get up.

I see that the link on the After Shave product above is dead. Here's a new one, but they've changed things around & it is actually harder to read. http://www.ewg.org/reports/skindeep2/report.php?type=PRODUCT&id=8806101 Main thing is that 7 of the ingredients in your after shave raise health concerns and two (SD Alcohol 39C and tocopheryl acetate) have potential to "instigate immune system response that can include itching, burning, scaling, hives, and blistering of skin (sensitization)". So that might have some effect on your rosacea.
