the 2005 september addition of POPULAR SCIENCE magazine published a small paragraph on epitan. It reads as follows:
Australian pharmaceutical company Epitan has created a small implant placed just beneath your skin that releases the tan-inducing chemical melanin. In clinical trials, the capsule gave 30 volunteers a healthy glow for 14 weeks and also protected against skin cancer. the company hopes to make it available by 2007.
