I was thinking of changing the
"Research and new medical journal articles" forum to "news, research articles and current affairs" and moving it up to second spot and changing the "general rosacea" forum to "general rosacea questions". Does this sound like a good idea?

Warren,
I know this might be a lot to ask, but is there a way to have a most recent posts link? ESFB board has one and it's a good way to catch up quickly with any recent messages. Then if you want to follow the thread you can link to it from there.

Sounds ok with me. While you are at it, there has always been confusion between these two categories >
Over the Counter Products
Skincare Products
To make this clear to rosaceans it might be better to do this >
NON PRESCRIPTION ORAL PRODUCTS
NON PRESCRIPTION TOPICAL PRODUCTS
If you check in the Over the Products forum, there is Topical Cream, Topical Shark Cartilage, GenTeal Gel, Nicomide Cream, and Dove Essentials which should be in Skincare products.
Maybe in NZ you can get prescription products over the counter? Here in the USA a prescription products requires a medical doctor which is probably the way it is done in Australia and NZ, right? In Mexico you can get ANY prescription product without a prescription from a doctor by simply going to the drug store. All you need is money.
So while you are changing names of forums, that is my two cents worth.

My understanding is that products with some active ingredient should be in the over the counter section while cleansers etc without any special active ingredient targeted for rosacea should be in the skincare products forum.

Hey,
I think Brady's idea is more practical Warren. I do not mean to disagree, but for the average person, this would be much easier. Brady, just to clarify, do you mean to have two different catagories...NON PRESCRIPTION ORAL PRODUCTS & NON PRESCRIPTION TOPICAL PRODUCTS to replace the existing catagories of Over the Counter Products & Skincare Products? This makes alot of sense.

Yes:
Over the Counter Products > Non Prescription ORAL Products
Skin Care Products > Non Prescription TOPICAL Products
It just makes it easier to know where to post. Otherwise, we will be moving a lot of topics back and forth....

On the main forum page there is a link on the mid-top right "View posts since last visit", but it is different from the view last posts on ESFB Channel and might not be quite what you are looking for.
