Hi Group,
My web designer is setting up a Rosacea Treatment and Research Board for those who are interested in discussing rosacea, following the latest studies, research and treatments. You will receive rosacea news 9 to 12 months before it is even published. Plus we will keep you up to date on the Rosacea Institute and let you talk to each member involved in this endeavor and discuss with them exactly what they are studying and the results as they come fresh out of the bag.
This rosacea group will be a little bit different as we will also address the newest findings in facial blushing, facial flushing and neural burning. Lately there has been tremendous strides in the research and treatment of these life-altering disorders.
I will also be emailing each member a series of laser and medication insurance documents in PDF format directly to the members of the group to help them get these treatments covered.
This will be a members only site and will be closed to outside viewing or interference. We will also set up a physician Question and Answer section for every specialty involved in Rosacea. We have had physicians lined up for this for quite some time who are anxious to get underway – but need a civilized environment.
There will be an IP tracker plus verification system to keep this board focused on real issues, not allow for IP address hit and runs, and stick to discussions on rosacea, facial flushing and facial blushing. It will be classified as a mid-level moderation group, and will be swept through once a day for removal of non-rosacea news and gossip. The overwhelming emails I’ve received these last two months clearly indicate that hundreds of rosacea sufferers are desperately seeking a board like this because they are sick and tired of dealing with rosacea and tired of sidetracked threads. I will keep my Recent Headlines page updated for its commencement.
This should have been done a long time ago, I apologize for not doing this much sooner. This will be a permanent board and will be the only board I post to so that each question gets the detail it deserves. This type of site has been long over due. Once I clear my plate of some remaining items, this will be set up and running. My web designer is trying to combine the best of both worlds -- the personal touch of a support board and the integration capabilities of a forum board. We shall see what she comes up with.
My ability to perform in-depth rosacea consultations will also be a unique aspect of this forum. For those with severe rosacea, blushing or flushing, personal consultations will be offered and time permitting, letters or phone calls will be made to physicians during these consultations to help the patients get better care. This is finally a place where I can dig my feet into the sand, call it home and truly help in a friendly, humorous and intellectual way.
