Hello Group,

We just finished our first interview with Dr. Crouch, a laser specialist in the UK who uses Lumenis One. His interview was outstanding and very informative. He is using techniques and filters that I had not seen before. He will be joining our RosaceaGroups.org forum to pop in from time to time. We will also be submitting the top five follow up questions for him to finish the interview. Fire away on our board. Here is the interview. Warren did a gorgeous job with the web page. Next on the list is a PhD geneticist to talk about the road to a cure. While you guys and gals know I am a huge fan of lasers and they will always have a place in rosacea treatment, the interviews should not just be a laser show, you need to interveiw, genetists, pharmacologists, dermatologists, neurologists and pathologists to get the whole picture. You folks in the UK have one more excellent choice and he understands as he was a rosacea sufferer too!

Group,

Notice on the first question that he rates a 9 clearance out of 10 for flushing -- is it due to his preflushing protocol, his deep 695 nm filter or clarithromycin treatment after to attenuate angiogenesis (or a combination of the above)?

Dear All,
Thank you Dr Nase for all for inviting me to participate and arranging this, to Warren for editing and posting the page and all of you who suggested questions- I thought the questions were informed and excellent and I'm looking forward to the follow ups. I hope to pop in to the forum from time to time as I think physicians could learn a lot from the discussions.

Kind regards,

Peter

Well, I have to say that its not the first time I've been asked that question recently. I was returning to the UK a few weeks ago and the nice man at UK customs, (like the States they are not renowned for their innate sense of humour), congratulated me on scoring a goal the evening before and added - "it is you isn't it ?" I replied - "Yes of course its me" (and whispered conspiratorially) "Don't tell anyone but this is my holiday disguise !"

For those of you not having a clue what we're talking about - Peter Crouch is a footballer who has just been signed by Liverpool for an outrageous sum. He is very tall ( I am not) and the current figure offered suggests that he is worth a million pounds per foot of height.
