Hi Dr Nase.
when you have taken accutane for aprox 18 months ,do you stop completely or reduce . what about pulse doses to maintain your recovery from the swelling ect.
sorry to sound so thick but i need this info so i know what way to proceed .
If anyone can add anything to this to help i would be most grateful.
Thankyou Shaun

Yes, in certain cases doctors will treat rosacea sufferers with nose swelling or rhinophyma for 18 to 24 months and then either stop outright and see what happens or pulse dose you if it seems like you may relapse == pulse dosing refers to either a few consectutive days on then time off and repeated or in regards to a monthly treatment plan of one pill on Monday and one pill on thursday (actually some nice article on this approach from Plewig and Kligman).
