Hello Dr Nase!
I've got permanent redness on my cheecks (visible capillaries). I don't flush after treatment with 3% metronidazole ointment. 0,75% - 1% metronidazole cream/gel improved condition of my skin only a little. After 3% ointment my skin isn't sensitive to hot drinks, meals or stresful situations. I addition to this now I've got small patches where it's pale and looks healthy. I don't have any pimples. Could allergic reaction to demodex be a reason of my skin problems? Before treatment my skin was intolerant to cosmetics even for skin with allergic and vascular problems. What to do now? What else?I keep using ointment but I'm afraid it won't help me more.
Regards and please advice anything.

Sorry for my poor english - it's my 3rd language.

I'm going to buy GLA caps but I don't know if it's good idea if I've got demodex - please Dr Nase - you're my last chance.

could anybody explain me why Dr Nase doesn't want to answer my questions and what 'h.' in Dr Nase' post means?

Probably because he's busy at the moment. Have a little patience :)

My system went down for a while, so it cut off my response. I will respond, but I have to finish one very important task first.

Hello,

I would keep on using this ointment. Topical metronidazole has very little, if any actions on demodex, so it is most likely due to its anti-inflammatory actions. You wont become resistant to this. It is possible that your disorder may progress on its own, but many stay in remission like this for decades. Keep me posted and stick with what is working and be sensible with your triggers.

I just read your post. Rosaceacure and Rosaliac dont work for many people. I think the 3% metronidazole is excellent.

Two IPLs is almost never enough to get results. If you have the chance I would try to string them out to 6.

Where can you get this 3% metranidazole ointment. I thought the highest % was 1%

Thanks.
