I emailed a marketing person of Epitan to ask about flushing and rosacea. Below is the email and their response. Not the best of news. But it is still possible that this could be used by rosaceans, who knows. I certainly hope so. At least they were honest. I sincerely appreciate that.

It might not be pc to quote like this, but I just didn't want to paraphrase.

my email:
I was wondering, in the studies being performed on the efficacy of
EPT1647, are subjects who potentially have rosacea being considerred
separately when the side effect of flushing is observed.

I believe it should. It would allow the company to say that the 30%
(for example) of people who flushed as a side effect were noted to have
rosacea. This would also allow rosacea sufferers, such as myself, to
decide not to use the product, rather than trying it only to flush
until its effects wear off, which might take days to weeks.

Just a suggestion. Thanks.

Thank you for your email.
The trials to date would not have been allowed to include people who
were suffering from a pre-existing skin condition such as rosacea.
