A subsidiary of Al-Qaeda. Great.

But Londoners took it very well, which is something.

Very bad business. Over 50 killed last I heard. Ironically they choose the same day that the G8 meetings were in full flight - now where is the logic in that?

Lets not start acting like extremist tossers ourselves eh lads!

Everyone i know is fine but obviously my sympathies go out to those who have friends and relatives who were injured and/or who have died.

Thanks for the thoughts Kelli and Tamara x

Yes thanks I have quiet a few friends husbands who were caught up in it all but no serious casulties, my husband works right in the centre of it all but on a very selfish level I'm glad to say he was in Germany. My heart goes out to all hurt and all families My prayers are with them.Whilst we all feel the outrage, hatred is avery negative feeling.

Sally,

Good point, but I do believe people are entitled to vent A LITTLE (maybe not here though).

I was speaking to a Muslim friend only the morning, and if I posted what he was saying Id probably be banned for life! Point is this was a vicious act that has benefited no one, least of all the British Muslim community - he knows full well his house will be covered in eggs tommorow morning.

Now, I am aware that this is far from an appropriate place to have a rant, so I'll leave it there.

btw, I have extended family in London that Iv ONLY JUST confirmed safe. I can only imagine how the close families of victims must be feeling right now.

I also thought of those on this board living in the UK when I heard of the attacks. Glad to hear none were personally affected by this except, of course, for the obvious stunned and frightened feelings.
The news reports here in the US showed the dignity and resolve of people living in London. Quite impressive and in stark contrast to the heinous acts of the terrorists. Made me think how good will ultimately triumph over evil.
Enough philosophy, just wanted to express my condolences.

Callien - you brought up a god thing here. The press that we've been able to get here has just boasted about how great the people of London have been. You've all shown such great strength in a time of adversity. i think that is said to all Brits, not just Londoners.

Thankyou all very much, I have quiet a few muslim friends and would never tar them with this brush they are great people who share our hurt and outrage and pain.

I don't know who really are responsible for this nasty attacks but I don't appreciate muslims being accused each time such an event takes place. I am a muslim middle easterner who is unable to travel to anywhere because of this prejudges about muslims.

Anyway, I never appreciate or support terror of any kind and I am really worried for those died and wounded...
