I just found this product by MD Formulations. No experience or reports yet. It has a long list of ingredients, but most of the fruit extracts are antioxidant based. MD formulations is a great company (beside all that glycolic acid stuff)

Critical Care Calming Gel

Instantly minimizes redness and irritation

The Critical Care Calming Gel is an advanced botanical formula that soothes and visibly minimizes redness and inflammation associated with Rosacea and hyper-sensitive skin. Supercharged with antioxidants and aloe vera, this oil-free gel helps to relieve flushing and irritation on contact while it nourishes and strengthens delicate, vulnerable skin.

Size: 1 oz.

Calms irritated skin with light, oil-free formula that contains potent phyto-antioxidants and argnine amino acids. Soothes post-treament, irritated or damaged skin without leaving an oily finish.

I did not even notice the price. I double that on the ouch. Look at their other prices and it is rather cheap!!!!! You can return it though and if it works I know many that would pay this. Always return things if they dont work.

Oh Ian,

It also says that while using it your face will be completely pale, irritation will cease, flushing will be abolished and all triggers be erased.

Then we have yet another cure for rosacea!

First thing tomorrow I'm trading all my Galderma stock for MD Formulations stock. :D

Todd,

I forgot to mention the only trigger that this does not cover -- splashing your face with toilet bowl cleansers. You still need to be careful of this trigger and try to keep it down to a minimum each day. 8)

It whitened my toilet bowl within minutes! I just had to try it!

Definitely an irritant.

Hi

Did I miss "the tongue in cheek" or is this product worth a try? I was planning to order it today but with all the light hearted bantering, I am wondering if this is a good idea. BTW. Returing products in Canada is not easy. In fact, it's pretty much impossible.

If I decide to order it, I'll let you know how I make out.

Thanks for all the wonderful news. This is the first time in years that I have actually felt hopeful. it's a wonderful feeling.

Take care
Linda

Personally, I am skeptical about this product, but what do I know? I say give it a shot!

I am just tired of false advertizing. And there seems to be no regulation against it. Cure for this, cure for that. Yeah, right! :x

Actually strawberries do seem to reduce redness, like braeburn and cox orange apples - licorice wasn't this only against mites?

Actually Marc, please be careful with the straberries. Topical application of strawberries will make your face red because the strawberries are red. In fact, stay away from tomatoes too. :( Red peppers may ba alright, and blueberries may certainly hide the redness after you have smeared enough in to look like PaPa smurf. :D

You know Im pullin your leg.

So you're sayin' it cures the leaky gut syndrome?!?

Sorry. Couldn't resist.
