I bet the suits at Galderma are starting to sweat over the developments with SansRosa.
I love competition!

I dont think Galderma would sweat at all, they would just make a fourth topical metronidazole product. What a great advance that would be.

Just finished recruiting rosacea patients for large Phase IIA study (I believe that was their quote). Still a while.

Should these alpha agonists theoretically constrict the problematic blood vessels even when exposed to triggers, such as heat?
Thanks for the update.

Todd, actually to all triggers that increase blood flow. They are activating constrictor pathways that counter or lessen the blood vessels ability to dilate.
The only exception would be extremely damaged broken blood vessels that sometimes have "lost" their alpha adrenoceptors during the structural damage, so there would be no receptors to bind to.
