some years ago, when i was rather a newbie in this - what's it called - ahh - rosacea:) i tested a lot of different topicals to see if they are of use.
starting with mosturizers, some of these special for rosacean skin treatments, metro aso.
it took me some days to find out the are of no use at all and cause irritation...
than i stopped that and was using them just on one side, or a small spot (cheek) to check what they are doing. this can be really helpful, cause it's hard to evaluate (having a disease with regulary ups and downs in mind) there effect.
i did never find anything really benefitial, but what i recognized was, that there are some products, where it can take up to a month, where skin starts to show different reactions than on untreated regions.
so it might be a good advice for those that use topicals an a daily basis for a long time - ask yourself, if you'd really be able to realize if this thing you apply does maybe just slighty worsen your skin? or does nothing at all?
