Hello everyone! As you probly have guessed i am new. I am 19 years old and latino(i doubt that matters but i thought i would tell you all just in case)About 6 months ago my checks started to became red and blotey. I had never had this sort of problem with my skin before so it was kinda a shock. Anyway after 2 months i went to the doctor(for un-related reasons) and asked him about it and he said that it was just dry skin. So i started useing lotion 3 times a day. It stayed the same, i ran across the eucerin redness releafe stuff and started to use that. It helped alittle but not much. I bought all the eucerin redness products, and still it helped alittle but not much. I no longer have insurence so i cant go to the demeratologist so i am kinda coming here for advice, and your views. My picture is here: http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y105/curricurri/face.jpg its not really good and you cant really see the redness well. Anyway any advice your guys have would be great!

The fact that you say you've never had redness before would suggest that you dont have rosacea. However, I am in no way an expert so I'll leave it to someone else to give you a better conclusion.
btw, I dont see any redness in your photo???

I never really noticed any redness in my cheeks until a few months ago (and I ahve since been diagnosed with rosacea) Does your face get flush when you drink red wine, go running, sit in the hot sun? Does anything trigger your face to flush?

Hey thanks for the replies!! Yea the picture doesnt reall show the redness. Its in two circles on each checks(more like ovals but you get the point). I always have them nothing really makes them worse or better. Im not sure what you mean by flush, but like i said there isnt really any one time it gets better or worse.

Have you been to see a dermatologist?
I think that would be your best bet right now.

You should submit a better picture that is clear..
But as far as I can tell you probably don't have Rosacea.
When it is hot out or cold out, does your skin turn red more? Do you feeling burning sensations? When you are embarassed do your cheeks turn really red? Is your skin sensitive to soaps, moisturizers, shaving gel?
If so, then you might ..
