Physiogel Cream by Stiefel

Hi,

I'm currently using Physiogel Cream on & off with jojoba oil. Does anyone of you used it & what is your opinion.

I found it's not a bad choice for am drugstore moisturizer. It's recommended by my derm.

An extract from its website:
PHYSIOGEL® Creme possesses no cenventional emulsifiers. Emulsifiers can accumulate in the skin and during washing, the crucial skin lipids dissolve and are washed out of the skin, making the skin dryer.

Ingredients:
Aqua, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, Pentylene Glycol, Cocos Nucifera, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Butyrospermum Parkii, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Squalane, Sodium Carbomer, Xanthan Gum, Carbomer, Ceramide 3

Here in canada , it is called Impruv. I got a sample from my derm and then bought a full tube at the ds. At first, I loved it. But after continued use, I founf that it made my skin red and hot. But I have always suspected that the main culprit was not being able to find a gentle yet effective cleanser. I just started using DDF's gentle non-drying cleanser, soap-free and detergent -free. My skin seems to like it so I might give the Impruv another try.

I wonder if the ingredients of the Impruv/Physiogel contain any possible irritating ingredients.
