has anyone experience with tryptizol for neural pain?

I've just got a prescription for tryptizol (antidepressent) form the derm, for my neural pain. I'm very hesistant to take it, because I react bad to meds anyway, AND one of the side-effects is hypertention..
Does anyone have experience with this med?
