I was given a topical vitamin C product post my last IPL.

MagC Peptide Serum (Agera Medical Formula)

Ingredents: Water, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Leukocyte Extract, Glycerin, Urea, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Quaternium-15, Diazolidinyl Urea,
Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-3, Myristoyl Pentapeptide KS, Myristoyl Tetrapeptide VA, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Triethanolamine.

It seems quite calming,
Be good know what you guys think of the ingredents, anyone else used this post IPL??:?:

Someone on the Rosacea-support group told me about the Vitamin-C Masks by Neutragena a couple of years ago. I put them in the frig and when I have a bad flare I can put one on my face and the redness will go away. You can feel the blood vessels moving and calming down with one of these on your face.

I must say I love these vitamin c masks, they have been a blessing. I also used them when I was going through my IPL.

Dr Nase did say that several people have had bad reactions to the vitamin C solution. I am not sure what you are using, but Vitamin C always has calmed my face. I have severe redness and bouts of angry-face syndrome so I need all the gelp I can get!

Its a serum and it does seem quite calming and doesn’t make me break out as yet ;-). Quaternium-15 is one of the ingredients and I believe this can cause a bad reaction with some. Still so far so good...

My Doc wanted me to use it as apparently it can dampen down the inflammatory response, he mentioned that you just cant get enough vit C
into the skin orally :?:.

I've stopped taking ascorbic acid orally due to recent IPL's anyway...

Those masks do sound nice!! I think used a similar product post TX and they certainly knock back the redness post IPL..
