i've read that "Twin Studies" can shed some light on various diseases. Are there any papers which focus on rosacea?

Good question,

To my knowledge there have never been any studies with twins and rosacea. I like those kind of questions. Those are real thought questions.

It also makes me ponder about Arnold Schwarzeneger and Danny Devito in Twins. :shock: Could we have learned anything from that movie???

so, now that my "nucleus accumbens" had a deep and long lasting dopamine flush - i wonder if that's good for my rosacea:)

I am a twin, and my brother doesnt have rosacea, but I do. I dunno what that means, but it isnt fair, that is for sure.

My brothers are (were, one passed away, car accident) twins, and had very, very bad adolescent acne, but never developed rosacea. I never had bad teen acne, just the normal zit or two, and did. Go figure. It does run in my family though, My dad has it the worst of all of us, and its mostly the men on his side of the family, I am the only female in my family to get it. Oh lucky me.

just a thought... yin / yang concept... a balance ect...

i just dicovered that skin problems run on my dads side of family like with cancer ect... and nothing on my moms.

my cousin i think had rosacea, but he's deceased and i have no pics, but a memory.

so in other words .... what i am saying... maybe one of you is the yin and takes on moms side... the other is yang and takes on dad side?

if you are aware of health history... i'd be interested to know.

i am a yang soul and am female.

hope all of this makes sence....

ps

my 2 brothers... one is yang and the other is yin.... they don't have rosacea... only me. and the yin one is fair completed like me.

just a thought running through my head of possabilities...

yang= more masculine
yin= more fem.

but of course there can be a balance between the two with some people.
