Anyone have this problem with the gentle cleansers like>&

Toleriane Dermo, Dermalogica Ultra, PC's skin recovery. I find that these are indeed gentle but they either leave a film or leave makeup residue on my face because my face never feels clean. When I use a moisturizer, after a while , my face will become very pink and burning. Yet, if I splash water on my skin for a while ( not icy cold ), then I can apply the same moisturizer again.

Any other explanations and/or solutions?

I'm not sure I could say why you're having the reaction you are, but I can say that I use Zia Fresh Cleansing Gel and never feel like my face has a film or makeup left on it (not that I wear makeup anymore - my face just won't tolerate it). Definitely leaves my face feeling clean without triggering any adverse reactions.

Could you be sensitive to one of the ingredients in your moisturizer? Or perhaps the cleanser you're using is in fact leaving a film on your skin that you're reacting to? You could try rinsing your face more, or maybe even washing with just water for a while, to see if that helps.
