Hi!

I've been talking a lot with plastic surgeons about ablative resurfacing for other problems. They ALL say my rosacea is not an absolute contraindication for laser resurfacing.

Those doctors are wrong.

Ablative surgery is an absolute contraindication to all rosacea sufferers. If you saw half the horror stories in my email box about post resurfacing causing horrific burning, flushing and redness you would not think twice about it. Please dont

If you really need to, use the vascular lasers to do slow but steady remodelling.

We have none of the vascular lasers around here, so I think I'll go with fillers and IPL.
