YankeesRBest AKA Chris -- Can you folllow up on this lead from Dr. Nase?? - Call or E-mail Lumenis and get the info you need to get treatment, They should be able to help you locate a Doc to treat your eyes with their Lumenis laser, -- I know this must be very depressing for you, - I hope they can help you resolve your eye problem. -

Dukecity - I appreciate your concern, it means a lot man. As far as I knew, there was't a qualified person in the U.S. who could do this safely, but maybe I'm wrong? I was waiting for Dr. Nase to post as interview with an ocular specialist on his site. I guess what discourages me is...if we can't get rid of vessles on our face with lasersd, can someone get rid of them in the eyes, and safely? I will try calling lumenis as soon as my college work ends in a couple weeks. Thanks again man. -Chris

OK - After reading that article on treating the eyes, it seems fantastic. - I would think that Lumenis would be happy to help you find the Docs that use their laser for this, it would only be of benefit to them to steer you to the right practitioner. - Take care and keep us posted.

I recently talked to both of my eye doctors and they assured me that this procedure is currently impossible because it would have to do damage to the eye. So, maybe the malpractice insurance costs are too high right now for anyone to venture into the field.

- Last year I watched a show on cable, and a person was having their eye-lids treated by laser, the Doc used a thin titanium shield that fit perfectly over the eyeball and the eye-lid was clear to treat then, with the eyeball being completely covered by the shield. -- They used what looked like a small wooden dowel with a tiny suction cup on the end, to put the titanium cover in place and then to remove it after laser.
