Dr. Nase, Lumenis One protocols?

A few months back the IPL guidelines below were posted. I wasn't able to find information about this in regard to the Lumenis One machine and how it differs. Is it basically the same? If not, can you post them? Cause I want to show these to my local laser doctor who has a lumenis, nlite, and YAG..
**If you could, can you also tell me how I can help direct my local laser physician in treating me with the NLITE for preventing/reversing early stage rhinophyma (how to point it, technique, settings, etc.) and the best settings for treating broken blood vessels with the YAG.
PS-should I wait to get laser treatment because we are still deciding whether 1 week every other day or 3 week intervals are better?

1. Treatment of telangiectasia -- 590 filter, triple pulse, high
energy (38 to 45 joules).
2. Treatment of chronic facial redness -- start with 550 or 570
filter, single pulse, high energy (35 to 45 joules). Double or
triple pulses may be ineffective because first pulse may cause
blanching. So, you want to hit these suckers quickly with one
pulse
at a lower wavelength that corresponds with a depth just below the
epidermis.
3. Treatment of flushing -- after inducing a flush, treat with 590
filter, double pulse, moderate energy (35 to 40 joules).
4. Treatment of feed vessels (primary branches in mid dermis)
during
flush -- treat with 640 filter, triple pulse, moderate energy (35
to 42 joules).
Once again, these are just general guidelines based on theory and
clinically tested.

I am keenly interested as well. I feel that the derm's RN is open to know how to use the Vasculight in a more effective and individualized way but I don't know what to suggest for my treatments. I know that just increasing the joules is not helping.

Right now, the RN uses the VL head for the second pass. She uses a triple pulse but only the 550 filter. The last energy was 40 joules. What do you think if I ask er to change to the 590 filter?

Right now, she does the first pass with the 560 or maybe the 570 but she uses the a double pass. Joules were 40. Should I request that she changes to a single.


Sorry for so long, but I am confused about this VL head and SR head??
