Accutane and Clarithromycin

Hi There,

Please can someone tell me if it is safe to use Clarithromycin (twice daily) while currently taking 10mg Accutane daily? I have seen some comments indicating this is not safe.

Can someone confirm this?

Never take antibiotics and accutane simultaneously.

didn't find anything related to those two drugs.

there's a nono for use of isotretinoin(accutane) and tetracyclines (mino, doxy also).

but it's better to consult your doc who prescribed those...

You would be better off to plunge into the accutane thing, do the course, get done with accutane, then go onto Clarithromycin after it.
