Just wondering, with all of the information out there, I was wondering what filters worked best for everyone? My problem is flushing and the feeling of hotness on my neck, ears and left side of my face. This occurs mostly in warm envoronments.
I do take several supplements and have had IPL performed, but I was wondering if anyone has had success with specific filters?
Would it be beneficial to use a filter that gets the deep blood vessels first, then switch to a medium filter then to a filter for the blood vessels closer to the skin?

Hi, im currentlyon my 3rd IPl (week ago) for vascular rosacea. Of course the redness is a concern, but as is the hot feeling and often burning and tightness across the whole face. I belive this is neuropathic rosacea. My IPl has been done on settings of 27, 28 and 29. Im not 100% sure the measurement, but what I have noticed, is that the burning feeling feels slightly removed from the front of the face and feels still kind of present but sitting deeper. I am not sure if this highlights the need for deeper treatments

I know what you mean. I feel that the hotness and flushing is there but sometimes it seems deep within the skin. Sometimes I will flush and get red and then it will be gone.
It almost feels like the redness, etc... is trying to get out into the open areas of the face.
Thanks for the reply.

I see from your earlier post that you still flush in hottemperatures. I think this is my worst trigger. I can get in a car white and after 10 secs, whoosh up goes a flush. I am not reaaly sure, why the heat factor seems so resistant to IPL treatments

Unless I am mistaken I believe that Dr Nase recommends the opposite: that we get them to deal with the surface redness/superficial vessels first and then go for the deeper ones, but I'm not 100% sure I have this straight.
