Hello Everybody
Welcome to this new and exciting group.I have a question about Oreganol capsules,I have heard of some positive reports about Oregano from DrNase,Ibeleive he said that he got some good feedback from some people who have tried it and it worked very good on their noses
1/ Would the capsules be appropriate to take ? I have started taking Wild Oregano gelcaps 140mg per capsule
2/ What doseage would be proper and how long can you take them for?I have heard 30 days .That seems a short period to get it to work on the sebacous glands which seem to be causing my nose to swell
Any feed back would be most welcome
Thank you in Advance

What I heard from two different alternative medicine practitioners is that you put a single drop of pure, organic oregano oil on the back of your tongue.
The pure oil is very strong, so be careful that it is just one drop. If it's too hot for you, don't drink water take a tablespoon of olive oil to dilute it.
I have done it, it sends a rush up to your ears. And the back of your tongue feels like "mamma mia!" But if you hang in there, it subsides and after that the pain goes away very quickly.
Has it helped?
It may have, yes.
I don't know how often to repeat it. Weekly, perhaps.

Marc,
This was not a study. This was just 6 long time rosacea sufferers emailing me over several months about oregano and its effect on their nose redness and sebum. I have known these six to be completely treatment resistant, very bright, analytical and thus it perked my ears up.
It is probably a combination of anti-inflammatory effects and antimicrobial.
The Herbal PDR recommends to place 5 to 6 drops under tongue with a few drops of extra virgin olive oil (to take the sting out of it). The five or six drop dose did not change with sex or weight. OOPS. As a moderator I should have used male or female instead of sex. Also, as a physiologist I should point out that you would probably lose some of that dose if you put it under your tongue during sex. Two very important things to ponder.

Hi Kel,
Nothing really yet.. i'm going to stay on it for awhile and see how it goes.
I'd rather be drinking motor oil.

Mike, have you ever tried motor oil? Take my word for it, oil or oregano is the better of the two. (damn school bullies).
Jonathan.
