Can anyone suggest a good supplement to try for oiliness in the T-zone area (forehead, side of face, eyelids, and nose). I've had no luck trying to control my sebum production as I wake up everyday with an extremely oily/heavy feeling in these area. I constantly need to wipe my face throughout the day to remove excess oil and I sweat alot as well.

I've tried Saw Palmetto but had no luck. I'm not into topicals/creams, as even the most sensitive ones make my redder and more irritated.

Thanks for any suggestions.

You might look into B-5. Some people have claimed success with it. Mirradodga on this site gave it a try, but I believe the quantity required was a bit staggering.

I would search for and research B-5 though for a start.

Yes I did trial B5 for a few months, I did have some success with reducing the oil production on my face but it was no miracle.

You have to be prepared to take at least 20 B5 tablets a day plus extra Biotin tablets. In my honest opinion I would say it was not worth the effort and outlay. Also there is something not quite right in taking so many tablets daily

Currently I am have success with low dose doxy ( 20mg x 2 daily ) and Finacea cream, the combination seems to have knocked the oil production back quite significantly, however as you cannot tolerate creams then this rules out Finacea for you as some people find it too harsh on the skin.

The other option maybe very low dose accutane, say 5mg daily. You would need to see your doctor for this as you would need regular blood checks.

Good luck
