a lot of the information i have read implies that, yes, early treatment can indeed prevent some of the more severe complications of rosacea, eg rhinophyma, occular rosacea etc. antibiotics are used for their anti-inflammatory properties in rosacea, so i would assume that tackling some of that inflammation could only be a good thing. obviously, avoiding personal triggers such as heat, sunlight, certain foodstuffs etc will help too. why don't you discuss treatment with your doctor? hi:

ok - thanks. The Doctors I have seen do not seem to know much about Rosacea or medications for it. They have said to try metro cream which I did and it did not help unfortunately.
