flushing after ipl?

Does anyone notice more flushing after IPL?
I just had my IPL (with levulan) on Friday and im noticing these past few days i'm flushing more often. Of course, my skin is still blotchy from the IPL and i haven't recovered fully (lots of p and ps everywhere, oh joy!)

How long does it take your skin to go back to normal?

I've never had IPL but it is very normal to be more flushy after these procedures (VBeam, IPL etc). Give it a few weeks and you should get less reactive. Do your best to keep your face calm and don't stress if you flush more.

Thanks Melissa. I'm just flushy and blotchy looking, boo :( Plus the p and ps are healing up. Oyyyy. What i would do for clear skin!!!

I did tend to find that after IPL I would be extra flushy. Just give it some more time. Have you had IPL with Levulan before?

I still think of myself (and my face) as it was before rosacea LOL. Easier to do when you are not in the middle of a flushing/burning episode of course wink1:

im still blotchy. Getting less, but still blotchy. boo! I've had these treatments before (this is my last one - number 6!) and i found i got less blotchy faster, however, she also did it stronger (which hopefully means better results when it's all over and done with!) This probably made a difference too right?
