Hello All~

I follow a low carb style diet to help with my roscea. My questions are what can we use for spices? I use sea salt and a little black pepper, but it is getting old.

I know spicy seasonings are out!

What can other people use or tollerate? Can we use season salt or red onion?

Also, low carb snack options would be welcome!

Thanks as always,
Sonja

The only seasoning I dont use is the spicy stuff (cayenne and chilli), besides that I am happy to use anything else.

Im too scared to touch any seasoning or condiments! (only extra light mayo sometimes but otherwise never use anything!)

I think you'd have to discover what bothers you personally rosacea-wise. For instance, black pepper is one of my biggest triggers (and seems to be on everything when you dine out in NYC).

What about fresh herbs? Have you tried those? I used to love to use things like basil, sage, garlic chives, rosemary, etc. (I've no time to cook any longer - I don't avoid them).

Thanks for the replies! I will try more fresh herbs. I have heard that garlic is a trigger.

Can anyone out here use black pepper?

Thanks,
Sonja

Yes it does not appear to be a problem for me
