Blepharitis and dry, peeling skin around eyelid

I have been diagnosed with blepharitis. I do the warm compresses, eye lid massages, euthromycyn ointment on top of eyelids. the eye lid area on top and bottom very dry, when I apply my concealer the skin around the eyelid and under is peeling. does anyone know what else i could apply? the opthamologist prescribed the euthromicyn ointment for me to put around the top eyelid not inside to see if ti would help with the dryness, peeling. it did help but only a little. Im trying to avoid asking for a prescription for steroid oinment for eyes but what else would help?

How about aquaphor ointment? That's supposed to be helpful for very dry skin. Be careful not to get it on the lashes as it could occlude the glands. Just use it around the delicate dry skin area.
