flemmo-sorry to bother you again-as i stated in my last post i bought the 40 inchlcd hd samsung 1080 -(lnt4081) it stated it was a led tv-so i thought i was all set-while watching the yankee -boston game (on my old set my new one is coming tuesday) i looked up the samung40 inch lcd lnt4081-it mentioned being led set but also mentioned that it used cold-cathode fluorescent lamps-now iam reallt confused-with this rosacea i cant even buy a dam tv with out going thru all kinds of changes -unreal=what about plasma are they better rosacea wise or do you think the one i have is ok?==the sony i first looked at was a 40 inch lcd hd kdl 40xbra sony 40 xbra 1080plcd =but changed to the samsung because of what you posted=thanks again for your time shamrock===my name is jerry thanks again

Hi Jerry,
What is the model name of the TV you have ordered? As far as I know the F96 series are the only Samsung TV's with LED backlighting.
I'm not sure what is available in America (I'm in the UK) but we have the LE52F96BD and LE70F96BD available now. Smaller sizes such as the 40" version aren't out until later in the year.
I dont really know anything about plasma TV's. To be honest I think you should be okay with any TV as long as you aren't sitting close to it. I have problems with computer monitors because I'm sat very close to them for 9+ hours a day.
