Hi yall!
I have taken a break from the board for a time beause my face has gone just crazy. The worst acne outbreak I have ever had. I also just got over food poisoning and got my period and may or may not be evictitd from my home. The fun just never stops!!!
Im guessing stress has been the trigger, and hormones. In combination they knocked me down a good one.
Tried to resume antibiotics, but that was a bust because I just kept throwing them up ( result of the food piosioning Im guessing) And have just been taking tylenol 3 for the last 2 days, which pretty much knocks me out.
I know I need to go to the doc, Im run down, dehydrated (working on that drinking green tea) and just kind of a mess. And my face hurts. I could really care less what I look like, and I look bad. it just HURTS!!!T Thanks for listning to my rant, just wanted to let you know why I have been in the shadows latley.

You've been missed! I was going to send a note to make sure you were okay. It doesn't sound like you were though. :( Have you tried RLT on your face, for the facial pain? Can you go to the doctor SOON? Wish I could help, will you settle for a hug?

Hey Skywolf,
I am so sorry that you are going through a rough time. You were so supportive of me when I joined the forum and I really valued your help. You helped me through a bad time I was having and I appreciated it. If there is anything I can do, or if you just want to vent, PM me.
Wishing you relief very soon,
Naun

Hugs are always good! Hug back!
I will be OK. the pain really sucks, but all you flushers and blushers go through this too!. Im not going to take anymore painkillers, they are wreaking havock with my body. I have become a vampire, sleeping during the day and awake at night.
I will overcome this, I have too, Im too bitchy to be put down!!

Thanks Naun, you are a sweetie too. Huggs to you too!
Im far to tough of an old bird to let this get me . Physically it has, but not in my brain. I have been hanging out at a space and science board, just neded to get away form skin stuff for a minute of two. No offence to any of you, you are the best, just needed to get away. to try to regroup. so to speak. Im back. Miserable, but most of us are or we wouldn't be here .
Huggggggggs to all
huggy icon, which I have no idea how to do. :D

Hey Laura,
Your post just reminded me of the times when I was hospitalized because of nervous breakdowns I used to have on regular basis. Its good to have people that care about each other's feelings and frustrations.
You just tend to be very pesimistic especially if you are currently in a bad state but dont forget that things always get better. You are a nice and warm person and I just hope that things will get better soon and you dont suffer anymore.
LOVE

Laura
Glad to see you back.
I recently went on a stress awareness course and learnt how badly stress can affect our bodies and mind. I havn't got time at this second as I'm off to meet up with with my study partners from the OU but will jot what I learnt when I get back.
Anyway hope your beginning to get back to your old self. If you are still really dehydrated then you may want to mix up some Diarolyte sachets as they contain the right mixture of sugar and salts that your body needs.
Best wishes and hugs
Sarah

I'm so sorry that you've been having a hard time. Sounds like you are dealing with more stress than the rosacea deals out. Not to mention a very hot summer!
I'm glad you are back, we are all here for you!
Hugs,
Patty

Hi Laura
I'm a bit delayed in replying as I haven't really been watching the Forum much. Just doing the basics in the Mod/Admin area. I do miss the chats though.
Hope everything is coming together now. I could suggest that relaxtion techniques and hydrating your body is the way to go but when you're really stressed, it's kind of like another added stress to even think about de-stresing! I've been there too girl!
Sending you all of my positive vibes!

Have missed you too! Your posts are always so insightful and full of caring, Laura. Lean on us cause that's what we're here for
Re: dehydration...I like to mix a bit of real fruit juice in with my water. It's not eneough sugar to aggrevate skin but has nutrients and minerals that help with rehydrating process.
Hope you can get to a doc real soon and get some relief. And hope that the eviction, as bad as it is, is a blessing in disguise and manifests in even better housing real soon!
Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Hugs!
(P.S. for someone who is not technically challenged like me...can we add the wonderful "hugging" icons to our "Emoticons"??? --- thanks!)

=D> heh Laura, the applause is for you to encourage you to keep on going. you are an amazing trooper and a very special part of the family here.
so sorry to hear you are having more than a tough time and certainly it appears this year for you has been more than challenging and at times one hurdle after another. You must be tired.
it doesn't help much living on the otherside of the world, for all i can offer is words, but know it comes with prayers said for you. That somewhere in the mess of challenges you are facing, you will be strengthened in your inner most being to rise to meet these challenges.
I know the health system there is so different from here, is there family or friends you can lean on in this time?
This life is full of challenges but it is made just that bit easier having family and friends to support,( and sometimes that needs to be more than words)
In my thoughts,
:flower: Rita
