Merci
Peter
(P.S. As you can tell I am not from France

Bonjour Peter,

If you are using tea tree oil without irritation and find it helps then carry on but please be careful. It can be effective for acne and other skin problems but many find it can make their rosacea worse. Do not use it neat but only use a few drops and dilute it in a carrier oil like Almond etc or try mixing it with Aloe vera. I only ever use Aloe vera gel and find that very effective but again it doesn't suit everybody so do a patch test first if you try it.
There are many other products out there you could try and it's really a matter of trial and error. Clinique produce a good range for sensitive skins and you can usually get your money back if you react to them plus they also do free samples. I didn't like Rozex as a topical but I found Dalacin T lotion very effective (Clindamycin Phosphate) and more suitable for our very sensitive skins.
Don't give up as you will eventually find something that helps you.

Thanks so much for your advice, Peter. Aloe vera sounds like a good first step. I don't know if they have Dalacin T lotion in France, but I'll check it out. I'm already hiding my red nose and cheeks behing Clinique's Perfectly Real Makeup, but I never thought about using their products for sensitive skin. I appreciate the encouragement and I promise not to give up !

Hi,
i'm not French, but i'm looking for some advice from people who live there.
As part of my job, I have an opportunity to go to Lannion for a couple of days (for work purposes, of course).
I am very interested in this trip professionally, but i'm hesitating whether i should go because it's in late August and i'm afraid it will be too sunny or warm for me.
I tried to find some info about weather averages in August for Lannion, but couldn't find any.
Right now, the weather there is ok for me (the forecast is rain, cloudiness and rather cool weather), but i know that the summer can get very hot too.
I also have no idea whether a/c is used in buildings, restaurants and hotels (in case it gets really hot).
My main fear is that it does get hot, i'll be stuck with no a/c, flush badly, have my face burn and also have to work during the entire time...
Any advice will be much appreciated.
Best regards,
Yael.

Hi Moka,
This is definitely not the warmest region in France. I found out there is an Ibis Hotel in the center of Lannion: this is a reasonably priced hotel chain, and their room have a/c!

Thanks for the advice, namfr!
i'm still hesitating on taking this trip, but i still have some time to decide, too.
I'm not sure that i'll be able to choose the hotel myself, but in case i decide to go i'll suggest this one.
Yael.
