Dear All,

I know that the mere mention of the name Geoffrey Nase is enough to enough to incite angry flushes aplenty, but I, like many of you, still swing by his home page for the occasional laugh. However, in addition to the usual hype surrounding the newly established clinic, I came across this intriguing update on 04/22:

http://www.drnase.com/recent_headlines.htm

At first, I viewed this with more than a little skepticism. I remember well the Sans Rosa debacle (which I don't feel we need to dredge up again) as well as the legions of other hotly promoted products that never saw the light of day. My questions are these:

1. Has anyone heard of anything in the pipeline that's remotely similar?
2. Is anyone aware of recent partnerships involving "micro vascular specialists" and "biotech/lipoceutical companies"?
3. Does it strike anyone else as odd that the product is still apparently in the testing phase (whether or not this is an FDA-certified Phase III trial is unclear) yet may be released as soon as this summer?

Apologies for the encyclopedia-length post, but I am genuinely interested to know if anyone's heard of something this promising. If possible, let's try to keep the discussion limited to the facts at hand - if such facts indeed exist - rather than discuss Nase's past history. Believe me, I know this isn't his first time at the rodeo.

Many thanks for any assistance you can provide.
