I thought about trying to eat only fruits next week. But since I'm not that familiar with diets then I'm hoping that someone will recommend me something. I mean that.. which fruits and when and how much I should eat etc.
And as quite a beginner in this field, maybe there's something else I should know.
I hope that someone will give some advice or share their thoughts and experiences..

I'm not sure whether its a good idea to try a whole week. I would start off by perhaps just trying it over the weekend when you aren't at work in case you feel abit faint (my friend tried this and felt really weird for both days).
I can't advise any particualr things as I havem't tried it. If it were me I would actually do a fruit and vegetable diet as it would have less sugar in it and more substance to it.

The reason why I'm thinking of trying it for a week is that I will have a free week that starts tomorrow.. and after that I will probably not have such a free week for a long time.
There are probably some (important) things I wouldn't get by eating only fruits but I believe that lacking those things for only a week can't really harm my health in general.. or can it?

Oh yes this would be good to try it out now.
I'm sure fruit can't give you all the things your body needs to the longterm but I'm sure for a week it will be fine. I would just be careful about having lots of fruit juice as it contains alot of sugar (natural) and perhaps avoid lots of acidic fruits.
I would sort of have things like- melon for breakfast, banana for morning snack and perhaps some dried raisins/apricots. Not sure about lunch and dinner you will have to find things that fill you up and give you enough energy. This is where I would add some raw vegetables such as carrots, grated courgette, bell peppers.

Just to note, people can be people can be sensitive to fruit for a variety of reasons (histamine production, acid forming etc) and some fruit may be better or worse for you.

Good luck with it

mind my asking why you're interested in doing this?
and also... how come just fruits... are other raw foods ok with you like veggies ect?
there are fruitarians out there and some have been for years. you have to have a certain type of body and health in order to be healthy to do this for a long or forever.
one guy... i think his name is david grahm... he's one (i think) but nevertheless a raw foodist and writes books on being raw foodist and also trains olymic people. some do it for the health... one guy i heard did it for a year to have visions... a spiritual guy of no religion and saw many visions and greater awareness of doing this.
and some others do it to lose weight.
well.... if you are only eating fruits... expect to have a tremendous amount of energy!!!
also there is a candida concern with eating only fruits.
i don't know your health nor am i a professional to say anything... but generaly yes it is ok to eat only fruits for awhile and maybe a long time... it depends on the person!!
i suggest to get veggies in there too.
if you have a juicer... you can make up all kinds of things.
also a dehydrater is great... most people in this world just have no idea all the lovey and tasty creations that can be made with this and raw foods. the key is... don't heat up food past the suns temp. but dehydtarers are more for using all raw food groups. * i'm rambling now.
you asked about dried fruits... yes this raw.
just follow your intuition... this is the key. if your body only wants fruits... then just eat that! listen to what it has to say it wants... then eat that.
hence... i will tell you cooked foods are a MAJOR addiction. expect withdrawls. but this can be overcome.
if you start getting headaches... usualy spinich will releive. i'm not sure of fruits though. so meditate?
and there's another key to be succesful and also get your vitamin D in... draw in energy from the sun. it's needed not only for the D... but to also be succesful.
you can find every nutrient our body needs in all raw vegan foods... most people have their facts wrong when they say you can't.
well... i recommend to eat a lot of apples... also consider in ordering some goji berries online. avocados will help make you feel fuller and get some fat in there. grapes are healthy, but get the ones with seeds in them if you can locate it! otherwise it isn't natural nor that healthy... don't ever buy pesticide grapes! this is maybe or in the tops the worse for use out of all fruits.
i can't tell you exactly what to eat since i've never been a fruitarian before, but there are facts to what certain fruits can do and some shouldn't be mixed.
it's overall best NOT to mix anything in one eating in your diet. i can explain some more about this if you'd like.
just make sure to buy everything organic!!!!! do not eat any pesticide crap. it harms us and also depletes us.
so always buy organic.

also... i'm not sure being a fruitarian would work wonders in rosacea. it depends on your condition.
to add veggies ect or just veggies for awhile would be ok. but still this depends on what you have.
but if you have a drive within you to just eat fruits for whatever reason this is... then do it! to follow your intuition is the key in life.

I think dried fruit is still classed as raw, but you will end up eating more sugar this way.

it is raw.... but it's better to avoid since it isn't fresh ect. it's not living anymore... it's a dead fruit!
with fruits... it's best to get it after the tree dropped it. it has released all the nutrients it can give when this happens.... yes there is a difference :)
and also better karma involved.
but unless one has their own garden and trees...abundance of them... the world we live in today is hard to be able to be provided this way.
the goji berries i mentioned... it's more common to find them dried... but still... they have so many healing properties to them and nutrients... it's beyond of most likely any dried fruit and contains some more things than many fresh fruits can compare to.
and with dried fruits... here come more of a candida factor to be concerned with... so i've been told.

The reasons I decided trying this are that I have a free week and by changing my eating habits for a while I hoped there was a chance to see some difference in my Rosacea and maybe also in my general unwell feeling.
Though I have no idea why I often feel generally unwell, supposing it is caused by some food allergy(Laura, Skywolf, said it might be one reason) I thought there was a chance to see some change...
So far I haven't felt any better though. Last night before falling asleep I flushed more than usually and right now it's a bit more worse than usually as well.. I can't be sure why though. Maybe because of some fruits or veggies(I hadn't eaten carrots for a long time for example, nor dried plums which seemed to have much sugar in them) or because of that Diroseal Treatment Cream that I don't think has helped me(yet?), rather it has made my cheeks a bit more red or maybe even made me flush more. Or maybe because I haven't used the sunscreen for a couple of days because I mostly stay at home or because of that sugar I get from all the fruits I eat? I just really don't know..
Well.. besides fruit I ate some cucumber a tomato and some carrots yesterday. So veggies are OK too..
There are no organic food shops near where I live.. so I have to cope with those usual fruits that probably had been grown using pesticides.
From all the fruits I only the apples are very natural since they come from the garden next to the house...
NWC, what do you mean by drawing in energy from the sun?
And by mixing things do you mean that I shouldn't eat some fruits/veggies mixed together or I shouldn't eat some certain different fruits/veggies in one eating at all?

i may be able to answer better later... i'm tired and retiring for the night... i'm whipped! lol. i just looked at e-mails and saw a reply to this thread,..but since you already started your "diet".. i'll share some of my energy with you right now. :) but not to mean in any way i have the answers for you, ok!
and get back with you later if i have to share and opinions ect...
firstly... i'd see a nutricianlist! someone with a high reputation. this can be done by phone or in person.
hence... keep in mind not to follow books or any jet set diet recomandation... they all do not care unless you succeed by it USUSaly and do not know you're health. and also to seek a professional like a decent nutrianlist... this can only take you so far.... like i'm trying to share with you... follow you're own intuition! learn from the others here on this forum with their experience and others out there... some things will scream to you!!!! screaming as in getting your attention that this could or will work for you... others will just sink in like hey..hmmm... listen to that too... maybe there is a key to this.
other things you will just know automaticaly that it isn't for you.
ok? :)
to be a fruitarian or a raw foodist in general WILL NOT cure you of anything in a week!!!! it is not possiable.
yes... miracles do happen and we all have had them in our lives whether point bluntently seen or not. and yeah... with health under certain things. it's not something to underestimate.
but in most circumstances... a week of eating fruits might not be it. but it could be if you believe... i don't want to demean anyone on miracles ect...lol...ok.
i'm not a raw foodist currently. yet... and this would take much writing for me to explain and i may never come to write about all of this here in this forum for as long as i roam here in total.... but yes.... being a raw foodist heals.
rosacea and my experience... i will have to see for my own self and this would apply for me and not to say it would for you and everyone else. there are many factors involved.
hence.... we all were designed to be raw vegan foodist... things changed and out bodies changed to meet.
frutairians are generaly only meant to really be for those to whom were born and lived in tropical areas. otherwise... it can be tricky to be a fruitarian... depends.
it's most natural to live on the foods that are grown in your area... raw vegan foods ect.
tomatos are a fruit by the way :)
anything that has a seed is a fruit.
drawing in the sun.....
ok.. when you have some time... just sit outside... you don't have to be in direct sunlight... just sit there and share your appreciation to the sun.... like it's given light and warmth ect... and call in those energies to you. even if you are not energy sensitive... you might feel the "enhancement" from doing this.
mixing foods
ok.... try this test because it won't work any other way, ok!
eat only of one raw food item like bananas or be it apples... whatever your body saids it's in the mood for.
have a bunch available for you in that sitting.
just eat that when you are hungry for this time (at least).
you'll notice that after eating whether your stomach fells full or not... and also that you love the taste and are enjoying it....that then all of a sudden the only one raw food item you are eating you loved starts to taste bad!
why?
because it's your stomach saying it's had enough to eat for now!
cooked foods and also mixing fruits does not do this for us.
in addition... it can be "harmful" to certain extents to mix foods.
the only acceptance in a generalness and / my opnion as shared with many... to mix raw foods and others together... it's ok since humans have geared more to like cooked foods and mixing over many eons.
but we aren't the "natural" way anymore... most at least. and therefore caused most of the cancer and diseases ect that are founf today..... besided the fact of plumbing and heigion ect... sewer wastes. this is what's prolong life as we know it to be now.
however sewers are done wrong.... ruined our water and also animals life.
i wish they'd correct this.
so... hey.. in my expereinces... i gained mixing... i did it momentarly. i also experienced something different of a feeling just eating of one thing...an item per sitting.
you must be careful though. genes and other stuff. humans aren't the same as all use to be for the most part.
unless you are an eskimo in your blood.... meat isn't needed. blood type O is challenging to be raw vegan... but has been successfuly done. i haven't studied them people.
it takes 6 generations of all people being raw vegan to be back to "normal" ... impossiable as to way back in the day since polution and many other factors going on.
so... as much as humans want a quick fix to life.... it seldom happens. but it can.
but if health is your only problem and you want rosacea cured... it's not going to happen in a week of eating fruits most likely.... hey it could since miracles do exist! and we all are in control of our own boat.... we all have this for a reason(s).
just follow your intuition.
life is a journy and not one to ever under estimate.
even when things move slow and not ever understood for now... later can be seen why and the bloosems show forward.
just always love and accept who you are at every given moment. you are you and nobody else.

First.. it was quite a nice post
Some things I didn't understand really well though.. maybe because English is not my mother tongue.
In some ways you probably got me wrong. I never said I expected to have my Rosacea cured by eating fruits for a week. I rather tried doing this hoping I will see some difference in my Rosacea.. I mean.. whether cutting out the food I usually eat(dairy products, bread etc.) will reduce flushing a little for example..
Of course when starting this I also hoped seeing some difference in my general unwell feeling(which kind of might be related to my Rosacea).
What concerns the sun then I kind of like but dislike it too. So sharing my appreciation to it might be kind of difficult. However, what you recommended might be still worth trying.

I think that the fruit may just have too much sugar in it (although ofcourse it is natural) to really benefit rosacea that much.
The best my skin looked was when I went on a liver cleansing diet for a few months. This involved lost of raw vegetables and things like seeds, sprouted foods, pulses, no form of wheat, etc.

yeah
lol... when you said for a week to eat fruits... i thought you meant a week to be cured! lol
i was like... what is she thinking? but in retropsept... i thought... nah this can't be it. :)
as far as eating... the more raw you intake and can be at certain ratios... the better. but some might have some stomach problems...
me... i can't say if my being 100% raw vegan will cure me... i know it will for me... but right now i am a junk food queen!
i either have to be one or the other... all raw vegan... or the pizza face...lol.

"what is he thinking?"*
It's kind of same with me.. Right now when I know that I will eat fruits/veggies only for a week it's much easier to avoid eating junk food.
