Has anyone had benefits from RLT and then for whatever reason stopped?? Just wondered what happens?? Does the condition get worse, go back to where it was initially or is it permanently improved????
Also, does anyone think taking a few days off could be problematic (thinking about camping- no electricity.)
thanks

Hello Moomy
I have taken over a week off several times and didn’t notice any adverse changes but then I am an advance user and hopefully over the worse. I believe Kristen posted on here once (you could check her posts) and said that she got worse when she stopped for a long period of time, so she started up again. I suppose it’s no different to any treatment, in so much if the condition is still active and you stop, then there’s every chance the rosacea will eventually return. Suppose we will find out for sure one day.
Anyway to answer your main question – I wouldn’t have thought in your case stopping for a few days will make any difference, so relax and enjoy the camping. Let us know how it goes.
Thanks
Peter

Thanks Peter,
this is good news. Hopefully I can brave the elements.
I had been wondering if there were battery powered options but may just chance it now.

Hi moomy,
There is a facial strength battery operated unit in development. I am looking to receive a prototype in the next week or so to test and provide feedback on (just thought it a good idea to add here --> I am not affiliated with ANY suppliers!).
When I began to improve alot I got a wee bit distracted (lazy) and the time between my sessions got long: once a week, then once every two weeks. Then I saw the redness start to come back and I realized that I needed to be more committed about this, at least for a year and then I'll test the broader stretches again. I started up again with a regular routine and got back to the good results very quickly. So if you miss some time, even a week or so, and your symptoms backslide, just start again and all will be good. :D
Enjoy your adventure!

Well I stopped using mine for three weeks when my lamp broke. I hadn't been using it for that long anyway so it was hard to say if there had been any benefits. The last 3 or 4 days though, I noticed that the redness was getting worse and I longed for my lamp. A replacement arrived today so it will be a good test to see if I can get the redness back to what it was before.
