Haha, I already do TP! I thought I might as well get as much value for money from my unit as I'm starting to thin out at the grand old age of 22! So far its not grown any hair, but I'm convinced, although it's hard to tell, that my hair looks thicker and fuller. I think it's also supposed to increase the effectiveness of Minoxidil which is a clinically proven hair regrowth treatment.
So is the LaserMax comb just like any old red light box? Because the HairMax is $545!
In the article though, it states the unit gives off "coherent light", I thought our devices were "non-coherent". Have I got that wrong? Or does it not matter anyway?

Watched the hour long show on Donny Deutsch last week, all about hair, they had on the President of "Lasercomb" and they just received FDA approval that it will regrow your hair, on average 13 hairs per square centimeter if I recall correctly. - It also thickens your other hair as well.
Disclaimer: i purchased a DPL red light & IR light last month and have been using it daily on my head, they said don't look for any significant hair growth for at least 2-3 months.

Hi,
I always do my hair with my hand held unit at the end of my face session. My hair is naturally very thin and I am hoping the red light will thicken it up a bit. Only been doing it a month so can't tell yet. Will keep you posted.

Dont get your hopes up too much though. This product has been around for many years and it seems the results are not very good from the hair loss message boards. I have followed it for about 5+ years and generally speaking it has been a dissapointment for most.
