Since using the red light my eyes have been irrated im not sure if the red light is causing them to be sore and irrated or if its just the fact they would of done it anyway but just wondered if anyone finds that the red light has irrated there eyes ?

Also does the anyone find the red light helps dry, gritty eyes?

Be very grateful for any replies

Thank you

Do you wear eye protection? Try it and see if there is a difference. Sometimes I wear eye protection and sometimes I don't and there doesn't seem to be any difference.

Hi Sarah,

Red and NIR did not irritate my eyes at all, but I have discovered that the yellow LED light is much more helpful. It increases to the moisture production under the lids, which results in a lot of relief! Yellow does not penetrate as deep and seems to stimulate the superficial glands which are underactive in rosacea eyes.

Always keep your eyes closed. The only colour I stress protective eye wear for is Blue, the others are fine -- just don't stare at them.

Best wishes,
TP

Hi Sarah

I've found my eyes are much better now, since using my red LED array. Not perfect but much better. I don't wear eye protection and often fall asleep under my array. It's here, if you haven't already seen it:

Hi Thank you for all your replies.

I have found my eyes to be improving lately and i now know why they was more sore recently.

I have always had very senstive eyes for a while now and have to be careful with what makeup i use and at the same time i started a new eye shadow which was recommended for senstive eyes the brand name is called Almay and i have the mascara and i am fine with that. As i started the red light at the same time as using my eye shadow and i didnt know if it was either or them or something else causing them to get sore and irrated so I decided to stop using the eye shadow for a few days ago and it has definely improved and even using the red light doesnt irrate my eyes. So it wasnt the red light which i didnt think it was as alot of you all find it to help so i just thought i would do a update on that.

Thanks
Sarah.
