Hi,

What I get are frequent flare-ups of red rash/spots around my face, mostly cheeks, temples, forehead, and nose. Rash consists of spots, akin to hives??, rather than a big red area. Does not itch or swell, and no paupsules/pimple-like growths either. Pics below (it's actually more red than it appears, and this was a more mild case). Appreciate any thoughts and feedback. Thanks.

Looks like mild seborrheic dermatitis and/or regular ol' acne vulgaris. Pretty mild though, I wouldn't be able to tell you had anything if I didn't have it myself. Go see a derm. They'll be able to clear that up. Just don't take any steroids. STEROIDS BAD. But yea your skin is not bad at all mate don't worry too much.

Hey – when I first looked at your pictures I thought it might be demodex mites. I'm pretty sure that this is what I have, and your skin looks similar (although milder) than mine (you can see my pictures on this forum too). But then when I read that you don't get P&P and that and that you don't have itching, then I thought maybe it's not demodex. One of the main symptoms of demodex is getting red bumps/spots mostly around your eyebrows, nose, and sometimes on the cheeks and forehead. There is also (sometimes but not always) a crawling/moving sensation on your face, especially at night when the mites are active. This feeling is slightly itchy, but not a lot. If you have the crawling/moving feeling, then I think it is almost certainly demodex. You can buy some zz ointment, which kills the mites, at www.demodexsolutions.com. But if you don't have the crawling/moving feeling, then it might be something else. Sorry for not being more helpful.

Oops - I just realized that the link to demodex solutions above won't work because of the period at the end.
